Wet Dry Sump keep my tank clean?

Hi, i have ordered a wet dry sump and it will be coming with bio balls and filter floss/pad. Will this two things only keep my fish tank’s water clean/clear? And also, where can i get a ball valve for plastic tubing? A plumbing store?

You can get a ball valve in the plumbing departments of home depot or lowes. Depending on your pipe diameter should run you 5-8 bucks.
